Sorry and an update

Sorry:
So as you can tell I haven't posted anything on here in quite a while, I've been so caught up with college and other boring stuff that I've had no time to post anything. Hopefully over the next few weeks I can get a few things posted up, not sure what yet but I'll figure something out.

Update:
Thought I'd do a short update since it's been a while; first things first....I'm now 18, I'm officially an adult and can legally drink (As I live in the UK). Secondly I will hopefully be making vlogs in November as I am going on holiday!

Fallen Series-Lauren Kate

So before I starte dreading Hunger Games I read the Fallen series by Lauren Kate, At the moment I am still waiting for the last book 'Rapture' but it's not out till June 14th, but her books are amazing; they're so confusing to try and explain because they're a fantasy book about Angels/Fallen Angels/Demons ect. I would read them if I was you, it's one of the best series of books that I have ever read and I can't wait till the nest one comes out.
Book 1-Fallen
Book 2-Torment
Book 3-Passion
Book 3.5-Fallen in love (This is fairly confusing)
Book 4-Rapture

Sunglasses and foundation do not mix

Did my make-up this morning and put on sunglasses since it was really sunny out, went into the toilets to sort out my hair took my sunglasses off and I have little marks where they have been sat on my nose of no foundation, good job I brought my concealer with me today as I normally don't! Concealer is a life saver!

Tip: Make-up

Miley Cyrus and Selena Gomez Attend the LA Premiere of Never Say Never; But Selena Has a Foundation Faux-Pas!
Little bit cakey there girls

So cakey make-up is not a good luck, I see it all the time and sometimes my make-up goes a little cakey too...I hate it. But we all make the mistake sometimes, when you see yourself in your mirror you might look fine but go out in the sun and see your reflection and you can tell so the best thing is to do your make-up with natural light from the sun...If possible, if not use a bright light that's white not a orange/yellow colour, this changes the colour of your skin.

Before you start make sure your face is clean, you want to work on a smooth surface, then apply a moisturiser and a primer (optional) I don't use primer I find it too pricey, but a moisturiser works for me, after applying the moisturiser I wait till it has full dried on my face before I apply a small amount of foundation; if it takes to long to dry you can dab it with a soft dry cloth. I squirt one pump of foundation that matches my skin tone on the back of my hand sometimes two pumps if I'm having a break out and I need a little more coverage. The I use my index finger to pick up small amounts of the foundation and dot it around my face first around my eyes/higher cheeks, chin, nose, fore head and then rub in gently till my skin tone is evened out, I then use a concealer on any really bad blemishes, spots or dark circles, my concealer is a similar colour to my foundation so it's easy to blend together. I use my index finger again just dabbing it on the areas I need, don't wipe your finger across it dab it as this gives more coverage. I then leave my foundation to dry out for a couple of minutes then use a really big fluffy brush and some loose translucent powder and dab it across my entire face, making sure there's only a small amount on the brush this is usually when people make it too cakey, but a small amount works fine, it stops you looking shiny and sets the foundation.

Contouring and highlighting; I don't always contour and highlight because I can't be bothered but when I do I use a small amount of a white eye shadow and put it on the highs of my cheek bones and blend it in with a big fluffy brush. After this I use an angle brush to contour my cheek bones with some bronzer that's not to dark since I am very fair skinned I also use a slight bit on my t-zone remember to blend it with the rest of my face. Some times I will then use a light pink blush on the apple of my cheeks making them stand out,

(Optional) I don't do this but many people do...Setting spray-helping to keep your make-up on for longer and setting it together but I find these to expensive and I can't afford them.

Avoid CAKE FACE!

Gym!

So the gym sounds scary to many people; all that hard work and sweating! But I actually enjoy working out not because I ache for days afterwards but because I actually feel good about myself that's why I've decided to join my local gym, I have an induction on Thursday for it and I'm actually looking forward to it, since I'm a student it only costs me £15 a month and I get free swimming, free personal trainer, free sauna...Looking forward to that one. Plus a lot more then that, plus I also get fitness sessions like Zumba and abs classes for half price and they're pretty cheap anyway. I can't wait to get started and since next week is the Easter holidays I can go any time I like and maybe with my mum a couple of times. That's the thing I dislike, is going on my own; but I suppose I can sit and listen to music which is quite chilling as I work out.

The Hunger games

So most people by now have heard of The Hunger Games, so I thought since everyone is talking about it I'm going to get the book...SO I got the book yesterday and started reading straight away and I finished the book earlier today, not because it's a short book but because my eyes where glued to it, I even had a full day at college yesterday and had three lessons today and managed to finish it. It's an amazing book, you have to read it; I can't wait to see the film but I don't want it to ruin the book like some films do. Since the book was so good I decided to download the other two book which I plan to read through the Easter holidays as I have a lot of work to be handed in by Friday so that has to come first. I will leave a review on the other two book when I have completed them. If I had to rate this book I'd give it a 4.5/5 stars; it was that good. I struggle to find books I like that's how I know it's a good book because I could actually sit and read it and not get bored of it in five minutes like most books. GO READ IT NOW!
